What is linerless?
A linerless label is placed like a “belt” around the entire product packaging, covering the top, bottom and both sides. Regardless of shelf placement, the product is often easy to spot, with good amount of space on the label for information and marketing messaging. A linerless label is made out of thin cardboard or synthetic material with adhesive strips on the back and silicone strips on the front so that the label releases during application. Therefore, with linerless there is no need for liner, which means that next to no waste is generated during production and application.
