Labels for wood, paper and pulp
Labels that withstand the toughest industrial conditions
Labels for timber, sawmills and paper mills need to perform in some of industry’s most demanding environments. They must stay securely attached and remain readable despite rain, snow, UV light, moisture, cold and mechanical handling – whether applied to logs, timber packs, paper reels or packaging.
With the right combination of material, adhesive and printing technology, we create durable label solutions that provide clear identification and reliable traceability throughout production and logistics.
Timber pack labels
Timber pack labels enable efficient identification and full traceability of timber throughout production and logistics. They can be customised with product data, dimensions, timber species, grade and batch numbers, as well as barcodes and QR codes for reliable scanning and automated handling.
A3 labels
Fanfolded A3 labels are used to identify timber packs, paper reels, pulp bales and other large units where extensive information needs to be clearly visible. The large format provides space for barcodes, GS1 data, product details, order numbers and delivery information, while remaining easy to scan or read from a forklift truck or crane.
Traceability under EUDR – labels as a link in the value chain
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) introduces stricter traceability and documentation requirements for wood, timber and other forest-based products sold on the EU market. Businesses need to demonstrate the origin of their raw materials and ensure they do not come from land deforested after 31 December 2020.
Labels play an important role by linking physical products to your digital traceability systems. Barcodes, QR codes, batch numbers, order numbers and other unique identifiers allow information about origin, certifications and production to be tracked throughout the value chain – from the forest and sawmill through further processing, storage and delivery.
We help you develop durable labels with reliable scannability that perform in demanding environments and support efficient traceability, whether the information is used for EUDR, FSC®, PEFC™ or internal quality systems.
