Clear labelling of prepared medicines

When labelling prepared medicines, the label may need to include details such as the medicine’s name or active ingredient, strength, dose, time and signature. The information required depends on your organisation’s procedures and applicable requirements. The label should also be positioned so that essential information on the syringe, such as the volume markings, remains visible.

White and colour-coded syringe labels

At Nordvalls, you can choose from white, partially coloured and fully coloured syringe labels. For organisations using standardised colour coding, we also offer labels that comply with SS-EN ISO 26825:2022, which covers requirements including colour, size, design and labelling for medicines in syringes used in anaesthesia.

Pre-printed or blank labels

We offer both pre-printed syringe labels and blank labels for in-house printing. Pre-printed labels can carry standardised medication information, while blank labels allow you to add the details you need.

A syringe label needs to suit both the size of the syringe and its intended use. We offer several standard sizes, including:
